Tim has been involved in financial services for almost 30 years in Connecticut. He has worked in banks and other institutions and has found that the most gratifying work has been assisting people in obtaining loans and mortgages. He started BCI because he felt that 'Big Banks' were not properly fulfilling the communities needs. Tim's philosophy in business is to give the customer superior customer service and the customer will keep coming back or recommend you to their friends. Tim lives in Wolcott with his wife Mary Ellen and his dogs Bentley and Kerry and his two cats, Mercedes and Benz.

Joe DeAngelo has worked in bank operations and credit underwriting for over 25 years. He has extensive knowledge in all facets of consumer lending and operations. Prior to joining BCI, his experience included working for Connecticut National Bank, Security Pacific Auto Finance and The Bank of New Haven. Joe feels that ‘working for a small loan company allows me to give back to the community by assisting people with mortgages, reverse mortgages and loans’. Joe lives in Watertown with his wife Grace and their three cats.

Ken Penfield has been in community banking for more than 20 years and as a lifelong resident of Southington, where he has established a solid reputation as a trusted lender. Ken currently manages the Mortgage Department at BCI Financial Mortgage Corporation, which includes numerous loan officers who originate conventional , commercial and reverse mortgages. Ken was excited to lead BCI Financial in becoming one of the first financial institutions to offer the Reverse Mortgage product in Connecticut. His experience as a dedicated mortgage lender has allowed him to help many people achieve their dream of home ownership. Ken continues to reside in Southington with his wife, Jessica; sons, Nathan and Justin; and his dog, Luke.. Ken feels that ‘making low cost mortgages for consumers is a wonderful way to help a community to grow and prosper”.

While Ron loves to make conventional mortgages, the reverse mortgage customer holds a special place in his heart. "To meet with someone who is struggling to remain in the home they have owned for many, many years is a shame. To help them access their greatest asset and improve their lives is rewarding". Ron lives in Southington with his wife Lisa and three college age children, Jonathan, Jeremy and Nathan, where he is involved with Rotary, United Way, The Chamber of Commerce and Youth Sports.

Mike has been in the credit industry for over 30 years. He was Vice President of the Credit Bureau of CT for 27 years with one of his primary areas of responsibility was in the marketing area. Mike has been extremely active in the credit industry by working through his extensive work with many trade organizations. Prior to the Credit Bureau, Mike worked for several financial institutions as a lender. Mike’s feels that ‘working with financial organizations to assist them in delivering a high quality product like reverse mortgages is very satisfying” Mike lives in Wallingford with his wife Pam and finds that one of the things he loves most in life is spending time with his grandchildren.

Jessica Penfield spent many years in the insurance industry working in various position. When Jess first heard about the reverse mortgage program several years ago she thought it offered seniors a much-needed opportunity to improve their quality of life by allowing them to use the equity in their home to pay for daily expenses, healthcare, home improvements, real estate taxes and much more. Jessica enjoys following up with her customers after they have received their Reverse Mortgage proceeds to hear story after story about how their lives have changed as a result of the reverse mortgage program. Jessica lives in Southington with her husband, Ken; two children, Nathan and Justin; her dog, Luke and various reptiles.

Bill has been involved in the residential mortgage banking business for 25 years. He has financed thousands of residential units over his mortgage lending career as a regional mortgage company general manager and as a mortgage broker. Bill is experienced in all aspects of residential and commercial mortgage lending including construction lending, mixed use lending and refinancing . Bill is from Wallingford, and he graduated from the University of Connecticut with a BA in Economics. Bill served on the board of directors for the Quinnipiac Chamber of Commerce and the Wallingford Rotary Club. Bill and his wife, Pam, are the proud parents of three sons; Matthew, Jeffrey, and Christopher.
